4th of July Sailing

Susanne and I spent a good majority of the 4th weekend on a 40' sailboat with a group of friends and I can honestly say that, after living here for most of my life, I saw this amazing city from a whole new perspective. We sailed from the San Diego harbor up to Mission Bay, where we picked up some more friends. From there we cruised around the various inlets and headed back out to sea for some more sailing. We ended up getting up early to watch the Sun rise over the downtown skyline. It was a very relaxing break and a great way to celebrate Independence! I did break the camera out for a few:
